I could go on and on about which topics people would gladly pay for. Take your time and think of a particular topic you love to create your first information product with. When you have an idea on which topic you can write about, it’s time to start your product creation

The product creation process is relatively simple. In fact, it can be hands free. Most of the steps involved in creating info products can be outsourced.

Research the market to ensure your idea is profitable. Your goal is to choose a hungry market that needs answers fast. Let me put it this way. During the time of massive layoffs, people started downloading resume templates and job interview manuals. At the same time, people started looking for books that will explain the “alien” concept of frugality.

You must be able to tackle an old niche uniquely by offering a new angle. A better product simply means a unique perspective on an old problem. You won’t get far if you simply sell your market the exact same product as the competitors are delivering to the customers.

The next thing to do is to create your outline. Writing the main points of your ebook in an outline form will make the next steps easier. After you write your outline, you can start writing your draft.

Next, find a good domain name that you can use to sell your book. A simple sales page will do if you’re using a payment system like clickbank or e-junkie.
